Welcome to GBA Online, the online home of the Glebe Basketball Association.

Glebe Basketball development commenced as an initiative of Glebe High School in 1990, with basketball programs originally involving only the high school, and through the Primary Links Program, Inner West primary school children.

In 1997 the program was extended to the whole Inner West community becoming Glebe Basketball Association, an independent association affiliated with Basketball NSW and Basketball Australia, continuing throughout the years to provide basketball facilities, competitions, and clinics to the youth of our Inner-Western suburbs.

The Glebe Basketball Association is unique in that it is run entirely by volunteers from the surrounding community -"by the community for the community".

GBA Awarded NSW Most Improved Association

Glebe Basketball Association wishes to acknowledge the remarkable achievements and efforts of all our players. In 2006, GBA was awarded Most Improved Association by Basketball New South Wales.

GBA appreciates the recognition from BNSW and we in turn recognise the hard work of our entirely volunteer force; Coaches, Managers, parents and administrators.

Thanks too for the continued loyalty and support provided over many years by our major sponsor, the Toxteth Hotel.

GBA Sponsors

GBA appreciates the generous support and sponsorship of the following:
Toxteth Hotel (major sponsor)
, Allianz, Leichhardt Council and City of Sydney Council.

For a community organisation such as Glebe Basketball to thrive, the ongoing support and contributions of our local business community and councils have been essential.

We are very fortunate to have a number of organisations who are sensitive to youth and community needs.
